More appropriately, Chicago Italian Beef sandwich, from immigrants working in the Chicago stockyards came this seasoned meat roasted over water so that a rich broth is created. House butchered, slow roasted, local pasture raised beef rubbed with herbs and spices. The meat is sliced very thinly, warmed in this rich broth and layered into a roll which can hold its form. It is garnished with Chicago style hot or mild giardiniera which is marinated peppers, cauliflower, carrots, celery, olives, olive oil, vinegar, and oregano sdesigned specically for this sandwich. Housemade porchetta sandwich. What’s that you say? Porchetta is the roasted belly and loin of the pig seasoned mainly with salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary with a little laurel (bay), fennel and sage. Served on Nosh focaccia and warmed in the press!  At Corsello, like in Italia, it's so packed with quality and flavor, that’s all you need, but we can add greens if you prefer.
